That mouse set reminds me of Brambly Hedge. I've just re-read the big book, that has autobiographical photos in front. She had an amazing collection of natural things set up in her studio.
The roses are lovely and the owls are absolutely gorgeous! Even though my ear holes have just about to closed up, and I need anesthesia when I put a pair of ear rings in, I'm thinking I'll have to adopt a pair of those hooting beauties.....
