New Necklaces

I've been experimenting with different textures,

and been making some new pendants.

As usual, I am a step behind everyone-

If I'd thought of these before, then I could have

had them in my Etsy shop in time for the 14th.

(That's so typically me!)

It was taken about a month ago when

we were out for a walk at a local park.

I have to admit, I did rush this a bit.

But it turned out not too bad.

If I did it again I'd change a few things,

but I don't think I'll redo it. I'm too lazy.

I hope she likes it.

I think if I mounted it and put it in a bigger

frame it might look better,

but I don't have a bigger frame right now.

(Do I sound a bit insecure - that's because I am!)

My toddler has now commisioned me to

paint her a picture. So I guess that

is next on my list. I wonder how much she

is going to pay me for it. A BIG hug, I hope.

My watercolours are out!!

I'm making a silly little picture for a friend and her

lovely new baby boy. I was going to applique some

bibs for him, but because I've been feeling

snotty and grotty, I just couldn't face it.

(He'll get the bibs sometime later.)

I was doing some doodling last night and came up with this idea.

Now to use my watercolours for the first time in ages.

Hopefully it will get me back into the swing of painting.

I do miss painting

(I'm really pleased with the two new

palettes I got at Tescos. £1 for 2!)

Lovebirds

We've all been coughing and sniffing

for the last few days, and I haven't been feeling

very creative, so I thought I'd let you have a closer

look at my profile picture. This is a watercolour I made

as a wedding present for friends (quite some time ago).

I wish now that I had made a higher resolution scan of it.
