Hi ! It's me!

It's been rather hectic here for the last few weeks, so the blog has been a bit neglected.
We've been preparing for and then celebrating Passover. Plus we're all suffering from horrible colds, so we've been drinking a lot of this...

Ginger tea with lemon and honey - very soothing and warming! Just slice the fresh ginger root and infuse in boiling water for 5 minutes, then add lemon juice and honey to taste.

We've been eating lots of matzah brie . I grill mine with sliced banana and drizzle honey on top to serve.

This Passover, I must have made about 450 coconut pyramids ! We had a special meal (main course cooked by a friend of ours - thankfully) About 65 people from different churches came and learnt all about the Passover. My husband and I did the presentation and it seemed to go well. This was our 5th time, and it is always a joy and a privilege to share with others.

BTW, I know that I have failed and missed a month in my upcycled jar tutorials, but I do hope to catch up soon as I am feeling better.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciate all my visitors and followers.

I hope you have a great day wherever you are!

We do passover at our church, too, and it is always a special reminder and makes me feel closer to Jesus.
Just wanted you to know, that if you win the give-away, I will mail it to you!
    Blessings, friend! Stay well!

  4. Wow Doda, what a lovely time it sounds like you had for Passover! I'm so sorry you and your family are not feeling well right now... hang in there and keep drinking your soothing tea! But I'm so pleased you could have such a wonderful Passover and invite others to join you in your tradition - what a lovely thing to do with others of all faiths and beliefs :)
