Lighthouse fabric panels

Inspired by Elsita's latest post on drawing on fabric,
I hunted out these lighthouse illustrations I did several years ago
on unbleached cotton canvas.
I had intended to make them into some
smart cushions, but I never got around to it.
I thought I'd let you see them.
Maybe I will get around to it sometime.

  2. That's like one of those scientific illos you see in antique mags - wonderful! The canvas gives it an almost vellum type look.

You know I did a lighthouse painting in watercolour a million years ago when I was just learning. It was of St Andrews too would you believe!

Must dig it out now that you've inspired me with yours.

Have you got any more treasures from yesteryear Doda? Would love to see 'em!

    Cheers

  3. I've plenty Cindy - it's finding them that might be tricky!

  4. Yes, I understand your plight. I have many a sealed unlabeled carton that may contain treasures, or past tax papers.

Sort of like a lucky or unlucky dip, depending on what you find.

  5. I like the lighthouses. You could do a series of them and make cushions. Would look great.
