Birthday Post

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPED OVER THE LAZY DOG
That's what I don't want to be this year - LAZY!
(ancient picture from my old watercolour book)

I thought today would be an appropriate day to
set out my crafting goals for this year.
42 today - yikes, how did that happen?
Well, this year I want to add to my Etsy shop.
I am saving up for an archival ink printer,
and then I intend to do some artwork and offer prints.
I have been wanting to get back to the illustrating
for a while, but just haven't quite got there yet,
so I hope this year I'll manage.

I also have some multimedia projects in mind.
Plus I still have to finish decorating my studio.
It's too cold to be out there just now!

  6. Happy Birthday, Doda!

I'm curious, but will the new CPSIA law in the US affect you selling your crafts here? I wasn't sure how that worked.

  7. Thanks everyone!

Rena, I'm not sure. I don't sell many kids items. So I don't think it will affect me. Not totally sure. Feel free to set me right someone - if you know something I don't.

  9. Oh HAPPPPPY HAAAAAAAPPY BIRTHDAY DODA!!!

Great to see another 42 yr young 'un! Now that I'm counting backwards, I'll be 41 next....

I'm a sucker for foxes. I had a pet fox as a teenager, imaginatively called "Foxey". (My Dad named him).

Goals, you ARE organised. I've just managed to buy a 2009 diary today. I'm always chasing my tail.

Keep up the great motivational work! (And don't forget the birthday cocktails).

    Cheers

    Cindy

  11. Oh okay, yeah, that makes sense. I guess it could affect you if the items were sold to kids.

  12. I absolutely love your fox and dog... Precious! And your post brought back fond memories of junior high summer school typing class! And now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country... Jeez, I can't believe I still have some of these things in my head!
